Auto-makers to Uncle Sam: "Please, Sir, May We Have Some More?": Talk of Government Bailouts Continues.

In today's New York Times, Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts Governor and candidate for president in the recent election, wrote an op-ed piece on the recent auto-makers' plea for a government bailout. I think he is dead-on. I agree with every one of his proposals. Not only is what he is proposing good business, but it is also ethical. Our greedy, bottom-line business culture has brought on this recession, and more of the same is not going to solve the problem. Instead, the solution will take sacrifice and hard work, not bail-outs.

Here are some recent news links on the auto-makers bailout situation.
