A New Bridge for Minneapolis

You may recall the I-35 W bridge collapse of just over 13 moths ago in Minneapolis, spanning the Mississippi River. That tragedy claimed the lives of 13 victims. Since then, Twin Cities drivers have had to find alternate routes that took them far around their old commute.

Great news! The new bridge is up after only just over a year! The project cost $234 Million, but because it was completed so quickly, the contractors may receive up to a $27 Million bonus. Hopefully this bridge will give drivers many years of safe driving.
