Calamari Anyone?

It seems as though California is seeing a large decline of its marketable fish due to an influx of Humboldt's Squid. These are large squid (up to 110 pounds) which feast upon smaller fish such as White Anchovy and Pacific Hake (think fish sticks). This invasion of squid is being linked to the overfishing of Pacific tuna, swordfish, and sharks.

It seems a significant switch should be made by the American populace. Rather than fish sticks, we should be requesting Humboldt Squid from our grocers and butchers. When life gives you lemons ... use them on your calamari fritti.
